Call for Papers

Clinical Chemistry is pleased to announce an upcoming themed issue titled “Biomarkers of Cardiovascular Disease: Utility in Diagnosis, Risk Assessment and Therapy,” edited by Drs. Fred Apple, Lori Daniels, Børge Nordestgaard, and Nicholas Mills.

The purpose of this issue is to highlight recent advances in the pathogenesis of cardiovascular disease and the use of current and novel biomarkers—including proteomic, genomic, and epidemiologic approaches—in the diagnosis, risk assessment, treatment, and cost-effective management of patients. The issue will cover the science addressing the advances and controversies that surround current and novel approaches to personalized/precision medicine.

Clinical Chemistry invites authors to submit original articles related to cardiovascular disease to be considered for publication in this special issue. Journal guidelines for submission apply as described in the Information for Authors.
