Dr. Alana Biggers is a board certified physician specializing in internal medicine. She is an assistant professor of clinical medicine at the University of Illinois-Chicago (UIC) College of Medicine. She completed residency training in internal medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, obtained her Master of Public Health in chronic disease epidemiology from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and completed a research fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Dr. Brenda Spriggs is a board certified physician in internal medicine and rheumatology. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Meharry Medical College in Nashville and her rheumatology training as a fellow at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Spriggs also earned a Master of Public Health for healthcare executives from UCLA and an MBA from Claremont Graduate University. She is currently a clinical professor emerita at UCSF. She is the coauthor of several scientific papers on systemic lupus erythematosus and Reiter’s disease, and is a highly sought-after lecturer for health and scientific forums. Dr. Valinda Riggins Nwadike is an obstetrics and gynecology physician and gynecology surgeon with more than 15 years of experience performing deliveries and gynecologic surgeries.
