Dr. Padwick is a board-certified emergency physician. After completing his residency, he stayed in Los Angeles for a year before returning to Texas in 2003. Since then he has practiced in community hospital emergency rooms, large trauma centers, and pediatric emergency rooms, throughout Austin, Houston, and Lubbock.
Dr. Padwick completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at LA County’s King/Drew Medical Center in 2000. He received his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas in 1997. He attended Stanford University, where he received a B.A. in Quantitative Economics.
Dr. Padwick maintains an interest in technology and has sat on the Board of Directors for Ambry Genetics, in Aliso Viejo, CA, for the Texas Association of Freestanding Emergency Centers, as well as for Green Revolution Cooling, an Austin green-technology company. He also serves as an advisor for local startups Titan-Seal and KarSavior. Dr. Padwick has lived in Austin since 2006, enjoys the outdoors, biking, and exploring Austin restaurants.
