This movie regardless of your race will open your eyes to the hate that this world teaches. We all deserve equality and equal rights no matter your skin tone or financial status. When we started checking boxes to "identify" our "race" that's one thing we all got wrong. We are the Human race and it's time we all fight for each other! Amandla is such a beautiful and talented actress and I'm so glad she did this movie. I hope everyone sees this film and acknowledges their part in this and hopefully we can make this world a better place for everybody.

I'm not certain why the hateful racists decided to target this movie with one star reviews under the guise of not ordering the movie. I've never heard of Amazon falsely ordering a movie. Pretty lame scheme and just shows how hateful you guys are. At least come up with a reason, how are you lazy with your hate? Moreover, if you really didn't order the movie the review section is NOT customer service. That is total abuse of the review system to push your agenda, the same as you claim the movie is doing.

From someone who has actually ordered this movie, it was a great and thought provoking movie. Amandla is a great actress. All of the actors were great but she carried the movie.

My heart is aching so much.... and I can only feel it from a point of sympathy. I will never truly know the feeling, and its that very privilege that causes so much pain and destruction to those marginalized in America. The book and the movie are soooo important to education of the young adults. Teachers, please bring this into your classroom. White teachers, please give this a place and space, even though it may make you uncomfortable. Sit with the discomfort and let your students heal.
